Love this! I feel like this also relates to health and wellness and the pressure we can feel to always strive for improvement or perfection. This can just cause unnecessary stress! And when something is (chronically) stressful, it's usually no longer good for our mental and physical wellbeing.

Love this, thank you for sharing. I am currently writing around a very similar topic for an event and I really believe this is where so much internal conflict comes. We don't want our voices to be heard or to be fully seen because unless it's something WILD - what's the point? It's so easy to get caught up in more more more more! Thank you for sharing this, really hear all those words :)

I love my ordinary life! I often wonder about the people that wish they even had an ordinary life…like those struggling with war, poverty, abuse, etc. I may have never done extraordinary things that people would consider as such, but to me I couldn’t ask for more if where I am now.

This is such a great perspective! and yes you're so right, our so called 'ordinary' lives are probably what those who are going through war/poverty/abuse etc would love and probably think extraordinary! I love my ordinary life too! Just me, my husband, and dog (no kids).

Love this! Personally I have always felt this oppressive force like I need to 'do something' with my life, like I'm not succeeding until I've succeeded at something spectacular. Actually, we are the only species in the world that feels any such pressure. And the more I think about it, the more I realise that none of us are ordinary anyway, we're all wonderfully, beautifully, unique.

100%!!! Yes, I’ve always felt that same oppressive force of needing to ‘do something’ with my life too - like something BIG and EXCITING and AMAZING! But you’re so right! We ARE the only species that feels this pressure!!! Thank you for reading (and commenting! :) )
